Save Our Veterans, Inc. is a Non-Profit organization established for the purpose of providing educational opportunities, employment, job-training, transitional housing, and leading to permanent, quality, affordable housing for homeless, unemployed, or underemployed Veterans struggling to find adequate housing for themselves and their families. There are well over 1,200 homeless Veterans in Indiana alone.

Our Objective
Save Our Veterans, Inc.'s objective is to continually direct and encourage our Veterans to utilize the educational benefits available to them and their families through the Veterans Administration or any other complimentary educational benefits. Improving the Veteran's skill level will allow them the most successful career opportunities. It is a consistent, sustainable income stream that leads toward permanent housing for themselves and their families. Our program is designed to complement the Veterans formal education with training in sales, construction trades, associated careers, "green jobs", and manufacturing opportunities. We will immerse the Veteran in a Veteran friendly environment allowing them to assimilate back into civilian society with life-skills needed to be a productive, self-sustaining, tax-paying, law-abiding citizen.

Our Goals
Permanent housing and home-ownership opportunities for Veterans is a long range five to ten year goal. This plan will focus on procuring distressed homes and/or vacant lots. This could only be accomplished with the collaboration of the Mayor’s office, and many other visionary City and State officials with a concern and dedication to our veterans. Save Our Veterans, Inc.'s programs will provide the much needed renovation, and long-term occupancy which will reduce vacancy, crime, and raise the bar on neighborhood stabilization.
Our Focus
Save Our Veterans, Inc.'s primary focus is towards disabled, homeless, unemployed and under-employed male and female veterans. Some of our services will be open to the public, with a heavy initial emphasis on Veterans and their families. Save Our Veterans, Inc. will seek to develop multiple partnerships with complimentary Veteran-owned businesses that are willing to train and hire veterans, as well as community volunteers as they are available.
Our Offer
Save Our Veterans, Inc. will offer multiple training services including, but not limited to life- skills financial literacy, substance abuse counseling, leadership training, sales, marketing, budgeting, stress management, manufacturing, and service industries. Save Our Veterans, Inc. is networking with local, regional, and state universities to develop education opportunities for Veterans and create practicum and internship opportunities for university students. We have also found opportunities to obtain college credits for prior military coursework.
We also believe that other ancillary career opportunities will emerge from our current programs. Thus allowing employment for disabled, homeless, women and/or other career challenged Veterans, in the following areas:
